A touring electronic festival that drops one weekend at a time into cities across the US, from Dallas in April to Houston in November, with tech-house, big-room and bass headliners.

Breakaway is not one festival in one field. It is a touring brand that sets up in a different city most weekends from April to November; the 2026 season lists 14 stops. Each stop is booked separately, so the bill changes: Carolina got Chris Lake and a Cloonee b2b Chris Lorenzo set, Houston gets Dom Dolla, Cloonee and GRiZ, and Utah's bill has Tiësto and Kaskade. Most 2026 stops ran two days. Las Vegas ran June 12-14, and New York City was one day, July 17. Where hours are published, gates open in the afternoon and the night ends at 11 PM: Houston is 4:00-11:00 PM both days, and Carolina is 3:00-11:00 PM. The bill is all electronic, mostly tech-house, big-room and bass, and the setting is a stadium lot or fairground rather than a forest. Crowds are 18+, heavy on college-age groups, and two-day prices start lower than the camping mega-festivals, with Carolina and Houston advertising from $75 and $79. The trade-offs are real. Published rules ban same-day re-entry and refunds, even when weather stops the show. The official pages do not say whether camping is offered. Food and drink are cashless, bags must be 14x6x14 inches or smaller, and tickets arrive by email about two weeks before the date. The reason to go is convenience: a full festival day in your own city, with a national booking and a short ride home.
